This worked better than I hoped. I have some 3/4 inch pvc with couplers and I wanted to attach them to a board. I went with the 1 inch straps and they fit PERFECT over the TEE fitting. This will make my little project work great and be easy to set up and take apart. They seem well made, they are not brittle or thin. These should work great.

These Ouro conduit clamps are a solid option for securing pipes and conduits to a surface. The PVC material is thick and flexible, and - to be real fair - they appear thicker and more beefy than a comparable name brand alternative I have in the set. For this, I'm quite pleased! Functionally, these have fit my 1" PVC drain lines for my HVAC system just as expected. The holes accommodate a common #8 fastener as well, without being so large as to let the head pull through.

I do a lot of repairs and updates to my home shop on my property. I needed to run some 1" PVC conduit and needed quite of few of these for my project. These are just a good or better than name brands you get at your local big box store. Not brittle and are perfect size for 1" PVC. Comes 16 to a pack so plenty for most jobs and about 1/3 of the price you would pay from your local store.

Are PVC pipe straps suitable for outdoor use?

Can PVC pipe straps support heavy valves or equipment?

PVC pipe straps are for routing and securing pipe. Do not use ordinary straps alone to carry a heavy valve or equipment assembly. Support heavy components independently with appropriately rated hangers or supports, and follow the equipment and piping manufacturers' instructions for support placement.

Can I cut these straps to length and mount them to studs or joists?

These PVC conduit clamps are preformed two-hole supports, not cut-to-length hanger tape. Select the correct size, position the strap over the pipe and secure both mounting feet to suitable framing with appropriate fasteners. No cutting is needed. Avoid overtightening or forcing the pipe into position; the support should not crush the pipe or prevent required thermal movement.

Why did my outdoor PVC straps fail, and what is the long-term fix?

Possible causes include weathering, excessive load, overtightening or restricted thermal movement. Replacing broken pipe straps without correcting the underlying issue may lead to repeat failures.
