Great Quality and great size. The side screw did not get easily stripped like other kinds I have delt with. It may in the future, if it ever does, I will come and update here. However, at the mean time, it's a great great set. I highly highly recommend it.

I ordered these hose clamps to use in my yard for flood irrigating. The clamp works exactly as it should. The circumference of the clamp is easy to adjust with a flat screw driver or a nut driver.

Because of the longer circumferential contact, larger diameter hose clamps often need to be drawn tighter than the typical "Screw it tight and you're ready to go" standard size clamp. These OURU clamps worm drive system can deliver the tightness we need without deforming. That's a big plus, especially as we thought the screw slots were cut a bit on the shallow side. ~ The Duffian.

The clamps that came with the rubber couplings start by engaging the slot on the very end of the strap. This results in the band stripping when tightened. I replaced the OEM clamps with these clamps and the problem is solved. These do NOT strip when being tightened. I have absolute confidence in the long-term performance of these 100% 304 stainless clamps.

Do not rely on epoxy and a large hose clamp to repair a cut radiator hose. A clamp does not reduce the cooling system’s internal pressure or restore damaged hose reinforcement.
Replace a hose with a deep cut, exposed reinforcement or damage to its pressure-containing wall. If the cut’s depth is unclear, have it inspected before continued use. The absence of a visible leak does not establish that the hose is safe. Also correct any rubbing or sharp-edge contact that caused the damage before installing the replacement
Choose the tool by clamp design and access—not hose diameter alone. For spring-band clamps, select large hose clamp pliers with compatible tips and sufficient opening capacity. Remote-cable designs can help reach clamps where conventional plier handles will not fit; verify compatibility with the actual clamp before use.
For worm-drive clamps, use a screwdriver or nut driver that matches the screw head. A flexible hose clamp driver can improve access around obstructions. Do not assume every large clamp uses the same socket size, and create safe access rather than forcing an unsuitable tool into place.
Select by the installed hose diameter and the clamp’s specified working range—not simply the next size label. Measure the hose over its fitting and consult the manufacturer’s hose clamp size chart. For a spring-band constant tension hose clamp, also confirm that its permitted opening provides enough installation clearance. Do not confuse its open diameter with its effective clamping range.
If neither size is suitable, obtain the correct original-equipment replacement or ask the clamp manufacturer for a compatible alternative. Do not force an undersized clamp or substitute another design solely because it fits.
Check the entire connection—not just the replacement clamp. Confirm that the new worm gear hose clamp fits the installed hose diameter, the hose is fully seated, and the band sits on the fitting’s designated clamping area. Inspect the hose for cuts or permanent deformation and the fitting surface for contamination, corrosion or cracks. A new clamp cannot compensate for damaged sealing surfaces. Let the engine cool before inspection, replace damaged components and check for leaks using the vehicle’s prescribed service procedure.
Repeated leaks call for checking hose-to-fitting compatibility before trying another clamp. Confirm that the barb is intended for your hose material and inside diameter; fittings for flexible hose and semi-rigid polyethylene pipe are not necessarily interchangeable. Check insertion depth, clamp position and the condition of both sealing surfaces.
Compare hose clamp sizes against the hose’s outside diameter while installed on the fitting. If the components are incompatible, replace the fitting or use a connection system specified for that tubing and application. A tighter clamp is not a substitute for a correctly matched connection.
Retightening may correct insufficient clamping, but a temporarily dry connection does not prove the underlying problem is resolved. Check the specified hose clamp torque, hose seating and fitting condition rather than repeatedly adding more turns. Overtightening can damage the connection.
Inspect the hose for deterioration and verify the repair through the vehicle manufacturer’s leak-check procedure. Some leaks appear only when cold; others appear during operation. If leakage returns, investigate the hose, fitting and clamp compatibility instead of treating repeated tightening as normal maintenance.
